Bindi Quartz Chardonnay Cotes du Jura AOP Aromas of wild strawberry andA beautifully complex Chardonnay, the Quartz spent 10 months on lees in French barrels (25% new) and was bottled in late February. Already, it reveals striking depth with aromas of cashew, fig, flint, cream, spice, grapefruit, and orange blossom. The palate is concentrated and intense, mouthfilling, textured, and chalky, yet harmoniously balanced, carrying to a very long finish. Best enjoyed from five years in bottle and rewarding for a decade beyond.
