Golgonooza Letter Foundry & Press: Digital Typefaces Mags&Zines Dwiggins designed the bindingChneau, a digital typeface by Dan Carr, was designed to work as a text face complete with italic, small caps, and Lyons Italic, a companion type designed to stand alone. The face was fit without kerning tables (just like metal type) as an experiment to show how few kerning pairs are actually necessary in a well fit font. Very interesting and rarely seen.
