Antique French Dripping Pan Wrought Iron Copper Fireplace Roasting Tray Original WW1 British 18 pounderThis antique dripping pan is a rare and highly decorative piece of traditional kitchenalia. This was originally filled with potatoes or vegetables and was placed beneath a spit roast in front of the fire. It was designed to catch the juices and fat from the meat so the vegetables would be basted in these whilst the meat was cooking. Key
