The 2XLP features collaborations with stateside artists like Guilty Simpson and The Artifacts, as well as a reunion with Mount Vernon's Carta' P. Phries' sample based production, inspired by J Dilla, Pete Rock, and Madlib, captures the essence of hip hop. All samples on the album were found at local record shops in his hometown of Perth.
