Original oil on artist prepared board
the front of the face is entirely missing
Silhouette (Or, Faceless Woman) chicken Available in one size: theOil on glass, 48x22"; tempered glass, mahogany, aluminum. The simple composition of this work allows an unassuming approach to the figure. Upon inspection, the front of the face is entirely missing, which creates a desired tension. Intrinsic to this intentionality is working to get at the loss of identity in the pursuit of ones own perception of beauty. Private collection.
