Penderyn 'Madeira Finish' Welsh Single Malt 46% Shackelton's lingering long and peatyThis release from Penderyn is known as their traditional 'house style'. It is aged in ex bourbon barrels and finished further in ex Madeira wine casks. This combination of casks gives a fresh and creamy nose with notes of cream toffee, rich fruits and raisins. To taste, there is a drying quality which leads to crisp notes and sweetness. Tropical fruit, raisins and vanilla come together to produce a lingering finish.
