Antique Traditional Child’s Embroidered Indigo Collar: Qing Dynasty, China batik wall hanging There are some tears andThis is an antique embroidered collar for a child, likely from China, dating to the Qing dynasty. It has white thread embroidery on a dark indigo cotton, with depictions of floral & serpentine motifs. The shape of the collar resembles a flower with five lobes, and these items were sometimes worn as detached garments similar to necklaces. Similar items have been identified as products from the Miao or Puyi people in China's Guizhou province.
