A beautiful Chinese embroidered panel in a beautiful soft magenta colour silk. The hand worked embroidery is skilfully done in lovely tones of gold with cream, taupe, light olive and pale brown. Era and Usage. This embroidery dates from the 1930s era, and woukd have come from one of the many professional workshops around Canton making embroidered shawls.
