Minnesota early state map 1870 Johnson large hand colored folio map River Thames Publisher's 1/2 cloth bindingIssued 1870, Philadelphia by AJ Johnson. Lithographed with original hand color. Note the fairly light old damp staining in two bottom corners with evidence of tide mark. Light signs of age, overall a clean nice example. Map still displays very well and could readily be framed for display. Uncommon 1870 variant of a Johnson map which went through numerous revisions over the years. Large folio, original centerfold. sheet size c. 26 1 2 x 17 3 4. R3615*
