The thread counts given- are based on the size of the design- approx 6" wide by 7 1/4" tall

I didn’t do a background color in my stitched design- so I’m leaving that up to you

I charted this for 40 count- and suggested 2 over 2- for a thread count- to make sure that everyone gets enough thread- and doesn’t end up short- while stitching- however- if stitching on 40 count- usually- most prefer to stitch it one over 2
