Blue Anodised Niobium Crystal and Rutilated Silver Brooch Chasing and repoussé fun and almost celestial jewelThis statement brooch was made in sterling silver and anodised blue niobium, with a steel pin. Inspired by crystal facets and slender, needle like crystals known as "Acicular", as seen in rutilated quartz. The crystal shape was made using the technique "chasing and repouss" from a sheet of niobium, which was then anodised using electricity to create the iridescent colour.
