CANADA 1851 SG1a Used 3d orange-vermilion Beaver on Laid paper digital-edition nevertheless a rare and remarkable1851 3d orange vermilion 'Beaver' on laid paper, good to (mostly) very large margins (traces of three adjoining stamps), very lightly cancelled by large part 'target' which barely obtrudes on the design and leaves the beaver fully visible. Tiny scissor cut in top margin (not mentioned by clear 1975 BPA cert), still a very attractive example of Canada's first stamp, and far above average. (cat 1100) P201008811
