It beguiles with its rose
Textured on the palate with silky tannins enveloping the fruit through to a long
this is a lovely and richly fruited
Long on flavour
Lovely minerality and purity here and real harmony between the linear acidity and subtle pithy bitter notes accompanying the citrus
Joseph Drouhin, Gevrey Chambertin Clos Prieur 1er Cru 2017 Zagorje It beguiles with its roseThe 2017 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is completely de stemmed and matures in 80% new oak. It has an expressive and aromatic bouquet with pretty blueberry, raspberry and iodine aromas that burst from the glass. The palate is medium bodied with fine tannin, very effervescent from the start with vivid red and black fruit infused with orange zest and light fig notes. Very fine. Neal Martin Vinous (94)
