We have restored the iron fully to bring it down to original bare iron
It's perfect for making omelets and quesadillas because its super light and easy to maneuver
where it had been a part of a collectors group of dutch ovens and kettles
We love the straight logo designed skillets however because they are super lightweight and really a pleasure to finish

Beautiful Illinois made 1920's Stover No. 8 Waffle Iron w/ HTF Tall Base! Original wood handles brownie We have restored the ironThis is a beautiful piece of history, made by Stover in the 20's. It comes with a difficult to find tall base with side handles. We see these a few times a year and they often are purchased by someone that's looking for a great gift or daily user for their home kitchen. It came to us with the original handles that at some point were left over an open flame or wood stove. The one handle had some char on it so we sanded down the handles and restored
