It does not sit flat

It was just sitting forever being unused

The exterior surface is smooth with just a few typical surface marks

Especially this one, it restored beautifully and looks almost brand new for being over 125 years old. Orr & Painter made a number of very ornate versions so there is a chance that this is an unmarked Orr & Painter. However we can't be 100% certain so we'll just keep referring to it as unknown.
