reading as one simplified bodily curve rather than a paired form

Foam padding over an FSC Mix-certified wood structure holds that two-tier shape

The New Works Tenon Lounge Chair reads as an exposed wood frame wrapped around a cushioned seat and back

Pavot Vase Coffee Mug reading as one simplified bodilyThe Audo Copenhagen Pavot Vase reads as a weathered bronze artifact, its rounded, tapering form drawn from the seed head of a poppy flower. Cast in aluminum and finished with a bronzed patina, the surface keeps the raised texture left by the casting process rather than smoothing it away. Colin King designed it for Audo Copenhagen, taking its name, Pavot, from the French word for poppy.
