Art Deco Statement Silver Ring with Large Blue Stone and Marcasites, Antique French Cocktail Ring shaker_locket or yourselfThis impressively worked Art Deco ring is the perfect period statement piece for your wardrobe. A large emerald cut sapphire paste stone is surrounded by a classic Art Deco geometric halo which is incrusted with marcasites. Paste stones are glass which has been used as a substitute for expensive and hard to mine gems, like sapphire. They remain a lovely example of craftsmanship and ingenuity of the time and are now often valuable in their own right.
