It had been a day of low clouds that only began to break during the final moments of sunlight, setting the sky on fire with shades of purple, red, and salmon. I pointed my 500mm Nikon telephoto west toward Bannack and Antler Peak, and recorded a moment of wind driven snow peeling from their summits in the moments
