Orkney Runic Crewneck Sweater in Lichen Size:Small Large front printJudith designed this unique pattern in 1987 it was one of the first designs that she made. It represents Viking Runes or you could call it Viking Graffiti! Runes are found in the Neolithic tomb of Maeshowe on the Orkney mainland. Don't worry translated it simply says " Orkney" in Runic writing !! This crewneck sweater is painstakingly handmade by one of Judith's Island knitters from soft Scottish lambswool , it has ribbed welts, cuffs and crew
