The spool width is 7 8". Excellent lightly used condition with one or two nicks on the frame edge, a few very light surface scratches on the sideplates and light mounting marks on the foot. Some slight residue from backing on the spool, but this really is very clean throughout and has been well cared for. Mechanically perfect
