The rod was originally ordered by Dickerson's friend, George Griffiths (founding member of Trout Unlimited in Grayling, Michaigan) for a Mr. Philip N. Wright of Aspen, Colorado in 1969. Eight feet in length for a six weight line. Built in 1969, late in Dickerson's career. The rod was featured in Jeff Hatton's book, Rod Crafting on pages 294 and 295. The rod is in excellent+ original condition.
