Sullivan, Arthur - Gilbert, W.S. - Autograph Letters Signed Programs Music Unsigned Strings Inscribed and dated in 1941Arthur Sullivan (1842 1900) was an English composer, creator of many popular operettas, together with his librettist W. S. Gilbert (1836 1911). Set of one autograph letter signed by Sullivan, and one autograph note signed by WS Gilbert. Sullivans autograph letter reads "My dear Pole (William Pole, noted organist), thanks for your kind letter and the discovered error the # is superfluous and shall be cut in the next edition. I am afraid it is too late
