Made in 1911. This reel carries the 1883 patent "Edw. Vom Hofe NY" marked oil cap, and has a strong click and fully functional adjustable drag with still bright red indicator dots on the winding plate. Comes with the original Vom Hofe leather reel case that has been through a bit of repair over the years.
