Antique Knights Templar Regalia Ceremonial Miter Hat tow stroke despite being in a casketc. Late 19th Early 20th Century; Knights Templar Regalia United States Elaborately embroidered ceremonial miter hat with red velvet cross appliqus and metallic trim. This fraternal regalia piece was worn as part of the Knights Templar order, a Masonic body with roots in medieval crusading iconography. The tall, peaked miter form is faced in cream silk, embroidered with a large red cross patte and Latin cross above, each edged in gilt bullion thread. A
