I superimposed the blue rooftops of the second image onto the roofs of the first image and thus the blue rooftops complemented well with the blue sea water and this formed a more iconic color scheme for the Santorini skyline

I immediately knew this was going to be in one of my paintings and I was fascinated with painting the details and I simplified the background by using geometric shapes

I was amazed at the richness of the city as a million things seemed to be happening at the same time

the cafes and bars offer many revelers a place to drink alcohol and party the night away
