The form and design is based on a prehistoric adder bead or milpreve found at Boscawen un stone circle and now in Penlee House Museum, Penzance. A holed bead with a zigzag design representing the pattern on the back of an adder, probably originally a talisman, charm or religious object. Kurt Jackson.
