釉薬のボーメ濃度を合わせる際に水を使っています。釉薬を静置しておくと釉薬と水が分離(これを上水と言います)いたします。長期間釉薬を置いておくとこの上水が腐り、施釉時に釉薬のひび割れの原因になります。

A : 密閉容器で保存されることをお勧めします。乾燥してしまった場合は乳鉢で摺り直して水を入れ、ペースト状に戻して使ってください。
