In 1975, the vineyards of Grande Champagne yielded a harvest of exceptional quality defined by brilliant sunshine, a high diurnal temperature range, remarkable aromatic concentration and perfect natural balance. Those eaux de vie entered the historic cellars at 16 Quai de l'Orangerie in Jarnac, and there they remained, quietly evolving in 350 litre casks of fine to medium grained oak, for fifty years.
