These switches were used in most all Fender guitars from the very beginning into the 80s very reliable. From the late 80s early 90s Fender has used Oak Grigsby Blade Switches in most all of their USA and MIM guitars with some exception also very high quality; Oak Grigsby switches are made in Mexico and are a bit more affordable.
