Tonga is also very conservative, where everyone wears shorts and t-shirts whilst swimming (I saw local teens swimming in long denim shorts!) I hadn't packed appropriately but I chose not to alarm the locals or create a public spectacle by stepping out in my (relatively modest) one piece swimsuit
