Germaanse spangenhelm Henning, 1-1.2 mm Helm accessoires en onderdelen Pirate swords like this areThis helmet is made after Germanic originals that were worn all over Europe at the time of the great Migrations. Germanic tribes like the Goths, Franks, Alamans and Frisians wore helmets like this one. The cheek flaps were a legacy of the Roman galea helmets and earlier cavalry helmets that the Germanic Auxiliae wore in Roman service.
