His dream was to create the best Champagne possible every year, regardless of the annual climatic variations. He achieved this by paying close attention to the character of the vineyard and respecting each plot in order to build up a large library of reserve wines from different years. Since then, Krug has remained a family business, with 6 generations following one another.
