La Tranchée 2020 Ribolla gialla with a mineral backboneFrom a south facing plot of terraced Grenache Noir (soula) on the schist terroir of Banyuls, a cuve vinified in whole bunches (semi carbonic maceration) in vats, then matured in non new barrels. An expressive juice, full of nuances black fruits, floral touches, spices with a frank character and energy, and a fresh, salivating finish: authentically natural, a racy expression of the unique terroir of Banyuls.
