Beyond Merfolk, I think the most common tribes that will use this are Kruphix-led Eldrazi, Faeries, and Rogues
Bident of Thassas main effect suits decks with evasive creatures and/or lots of cheap creatures that you don't mind sending forth as lemmings, but its activated ability can also pave the way for bigger threats
This allows you to save some resources for when you start pulling ahead and need to force your opponents to attack each other, instead of just suggesting it with your commander
And while it could normally have been attributed as a fluke caused by a misinformed 3rd party vendor (Walmart commissions outside companies to stock their trading cards), it seems that the cards have now been found at other locations across the country, too
Its clearly a very powerful effect by virtue of being able to run away with the game, but it wont work in every deck and Invasion of Gobakhan is rightly not strong enough on its own
