Swords to Plowshares is best in class in terms of one-for-one creature removal spells, and this is an important but not overwhelmingly powerful category of card
While it starts off with zero power, it's usually attacking for two on Turn 2, and it's pretty easy to grow it into a four-, six-, or even 20-power creature as the game goes along and we cast more spells
But like I said earlier, if you're just trying to build decks, buy the base version
