At the time of King Thoden, the sword was at least five hundred years old. It was at last passed to Thoden, the last king of the second line in Rohan; who won victory with it at Helm's Deep, and died with it in his hand. Overall it measures 97cm 38". The blade is 77cm long, 5. 3cm wide. The handle is bound in a brown colour.
